How strong should I go?

Reading the number on the pack.

Potency is the number customers ask about most, and the one most often misread. Here is what the milligrams on a Hemp Life package actually describe.

The number on the front is the whole package.

When a pack says 750mg, that is the total across everything inside it — not the strength of a single piece. A 750mg bag split into ten gummies is a very different product from a 750mg bag split into two.

The per-piece figure and the piece count are printed on the label. That is the number worth finding before anything else.

Total package potency is what we show on product cards. Per-piece is on the packaging.

By strength

What each strength means.

Every figure below is the total potency of the package. How a given strength actually behaves depends on how many pieces that total is split across, so check the per-piece number on the label before you compare two packs.

01

200 – 300mg

Our lowest total potency, and the level most people meet us at. Gentle enough to learn how a format behaves before committing to anything stronger.

02

750mg

Roughly three times the potency of an entry pack. Familiar territory once you already know how a format lands for you.

03

2,000 – 3,500mg

Around ten times the entry strength. This band is built for an established tolerance, not for a first order.

04

10,000mg

The highest total potency we sell — roughly forty times an entry pack. Double Staxx sits alone at this level.

Ranges describe our catalogue, not a recommendation. Nothing here is medical or dosing advice.

The strongest product in the shop is not the best product in the shop. It is just the strongest.

Beyond the number

Milligrams are one variable.

Two people can take the same amount of the same product and describe two different afternoons.

01

Format

Inhaled and swallowed products behave differently. The same milligram figure does not mean the same thing across formats.

02

Tolerance

Regular use changes how a given amount registers. Time away from it changes that back.

03

Body and food

Body chemistry differs person to person, and whether you have eaten can change how an edible behaves.

04

Batch testing

Cannabinoid content varies between harvests. The COA for the batch is the accurate figure.

By format

Same milligrams, different behaviour.

Flower and pre-rolls

Inhaled. Effects tend to arrive quickly and taper sooner, which makes them easier to gauge as you go.

Carts and disposables

Also inhaled, with the same fast arrival. Dose is controlled by how much you draw rather than by a fixed piece.

Shop carts - Carts and disposables

Gummies and chocolate

Swallowed and digested. These take considerably longer to arrive and last longer once they do — which is why people misjudge them.

Shop edibles - Gummies and chocolate

Syringes

Concentrate in a refillable applicator. Potency per millilitre is high; read the label before loading.

Questions

Frequently asked

Does the milligram number on the pack mean per gummy?

No. On Hemp Life product pages that figure is the total for the whole package. The per-piece amount and the piece count are printed on the label.

Why do edibles feel different from flower at the same milligrams?

Because they are absorbed differently. Swallowed products are digested first, so they generally take longer to arrive and last longer than inhaled products.

Is a higher milligram product better value?

It is more product for the money, which is not the same as a better fit. The right pack is the one that matches how you actually use it.

Where do I find the tested potency?

On the Certificate of Analysis for that batch — the independent laboratory report for the specific lot you received.

Pick the pack that fits.

Every product page shows total potency, strain and format up front.
